The Velvet Eclipse is a shoegaze / post-punk / dreampop / jangle rock project from the San Francisco Bay Area. Formed by Celeste, Yumiko, and Haruka,
we make music for the moments that don’t have words—when you’re walking alone at night, thinking about everything you didn’t say.
our songs live in that space between softness and distortion. bittersweet and rawness. distant but deeply personal.

this band started as a way to cope with our feeling to express. we came together with a shared love for melancholic sounds and honest expression.
our music reflects the things we’ve been through—grief, memory, healing, and the kind of love that leaves a mark. nothing is polished, nothing is forced. it’s all real. it’s all us.
